Simple Analytics alternative
A Simple Analytics alternative that keeps your setup
Totallytics is free during beta and runs a tracker built on the Simple Analytics script, so supported settings keep working. It imports your Simple Analytics CSV history and adds retention and API monitoring.

Switch without rewriting your setup
Replace the script URL and keep your supported settings. Before:
<script async src="https://scripts.simpleanalyticscdn.com/latest.js"></script>
After:
<script
async
src="https://totallytics.com/latest.js"
data-hostname="example.com"
data-verify="YOUR_SITE_VERIFY_TOKEN"
></script>
Then rename browser calls from sa_event to tt_event:
window.tt_event("signup");
Totallytics only reads its own tt_event queue, so you can call both while you compare. The migration guide covers the noscript pixel, proxies and cutover timing.
Bring your history
Upload your Simple Analytics CSV exports and your past traffic shows up next to new data, with its visit flags intact, up to 5 years back. Imported rows carry no visitor identity, so goals and funnels only cover data from the Totallytics tracker. See imports.
What Totallytics adds
- Search Console queries, clicks and impressions with up to 16 months of history
- Weekly retention cohorts, without cookies
- API analytics and alerts for Node.js, Cloudflare Workers and Go
- Up to 50 websites during the beta
Where Simple Analytics is the better choice
- You want an established paid product rather than a beta.
- You need a Google Analytics import or native iOS and macOS apps.
- You need your data stored in the Netherlands.
FAQ
Do my script settings carry over?
Supported settings do. The migration guide lists what carries over and what to rename.
Do sa_event calls still work?
No. Totallytics reads its own tt_event queue and leaves sa_event alone, so rename the calls.
Is the tracker cookie-free like Simple Analytics?
Yes. No cookies, no local storage and no IDs, and IP addresses are never stored.
