What Totallytics adds

Funnels. 2 to 6 steps from pages and custom events, in order on the same UTC day, with conversion by source, entry page or country and median and p90 time to convert. More on funnel analytics.

Retention. Weekly returning-visitor cohorts over 12 weeks, without cookies.

API analytics. Requests, status codes, latency and errors per route for Hono, Express, Fastify, Next.js, Workers and Go, with alerts on error rate, p95 latency or silence.

Where Fathom is the better choice

  • You want an established paid product rather than a beta.
  • You need revenue on events or a GA4 importer.
  • You rely on saved views or password-protected dashboards. Totallytics shares dashboards through a public link.

Switch from Fathom

Add your site, then replace the Fathom script with the tracking script from your site settings:

<script
  async
  src="https://totallytics.com/latest.js"
  data-hostname="example.com"
  data-verify="YOUR_SITE_VERIFY_TOKEN"
></script>

Replace fathom.trackEvent("signup") calls with window.tt_event("signup"). Fathom history can't be imported.
